a great way to celebrate the Saints’ success!
Let’s look at the facts:
1.Finally, the Saints won the Super Bowl!!!!!
2.We ARE talking about New Orleans, home of the cocktail
Sounds like a great excuse for an all-out party!
Here’s our idea on how to celebrate: Have a Saints-tini party!
A Saints-tini party combines a fantastic Black & Gold ice luge with a unique-looking drink that is poured through the luge. In fact, once it’s poured through the luge, the drink looks like it got it’s Black & Gold color from the luge itself!
To have a Saint-tini party, order a Black & Gold ice luge and make sure your bartender has the ingredients for the martini recipe(s) below. Then get everybody together and celebrate the Saints’ success!

This Black & Gold martini REALLY is Black and Gold!
2 oz Blavod vodka (a black vodka; black + vodka=Blavod)
1 oz Goldschlager
Shaken with ice and strained into a cold martini glass, the result is a black cinnamon-flavored martini with gold flakes floating in it!
Other black and gold martini options are:
gin or vodka, blackberry brandy or Chambord, and edible gold flakes, strained chilled into a glass
(however, this version won’t be as “black”)
-or-
make a regular vodka martini with Blavod and add gold flakes
Goldschlager has the gold flakes already in it, but maybe not as many as you’d like, so if you’re using the Goldschlager recipe, it’s not a bad idea to get some extra gold flakes.
Finally: WHO DAT!!!!
Have a Saints-tini party! Pour Black & Gold martinis (above) through a black and gold ice luge!
The Black & Gold ice luge looks just like the sculpture above with the funnels from the ice luge below.
A Saints football luge (above) or the gold version of the Saints logo (below) are other possibilities for the ice luge at a Saints-tini party
