At the start of March, Dawson List of ice dragon was part of a five person team that built the world's longest ice bar (208 feet!) and the world's largest ice luge (23 feet tall!) at the 2011 World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, Alaska! Now all we're waiting for is for Guinness to make it official and then we'll be Guinness World Record ice sculptors! It's easy to understand why the coldest times of the year are our favorite. So even though the mercury is doing it's best to burst the thermometer right now, we're still dreaming of chilly days and hard freezes at night. Seems we're not the only ones thinking about the end of the year either. We've been getting some holiday party bookings even though it's hard to imagine any thing freezing over right now. SouthBark Animal Rescue held a fundraiser at the River Shack in Mobile, Alabama recently. Ice Dragon was there and did a live ice sculpting demo, carving a dog that ended up, appropriately, overlooking Dog River. We had a great time and hopefully, we'll do much more with SouthBark in the very near future. Look for more pics in our events blog and on our Facebook page.
