fleur-de-lis double luge

Luges have been wildly popular over the last few years and this design gives it the New Orleans touch. This double luge sculpture often decorates a martini bar at area wedding receptions.

The fleur-de-lis (flower of the lily) is a classic symbol of New Orleans. There are many variations of the fleur-de-lis, any of which can be replicated in ice. A few variations are shown below and many more are possible.
scrollwork fleur-de-lis with logo or lettering
There is room at the bottom of the scrollwork fleur-de-lis for a small logo, lettering, or even a monogram. The “CSC” at the bottom of this piece stands for “Copeland’s Social City,” which has recently replaced Sweet Fire and Ice in Metairie
mini fleur-de-lis
This version stands about 18 inches tall and has a delicate scrollwork pattern. It works well when there’s not enough space for a full size sculpture.
fleur-de-lis ice bar
An asymmetrical fleur-de-lis and bubble accents adorn this six foot ice bar. Check the ice bars and tables page for more ideas
color fleur-de-lis
This fleur-de-lis is colored to match the color scheme of the reception. Virtually any color can be added to the ice and colored ice sculptures make for dramatic and unusual showpieces!
narrow-style fleur-de-lis with logo or lettering
This narrower version of the fleur-de-lis decorates a Krewe of Endymion event at the Riverview Room in New Orleans. At twenty inches wide and forty-three inches tall, it still makes for an impressive centerpiece.

New Orleans Saints fleur-de-lis
Certainly one of the most famous uses of the fleur-de-lis is on the side of the Saints helmets. Both of the main color schemes can be integrated into visually striking sculptures.
dynamic fleur-de-lis
a departure from the more typical straight-up-and-down presentation, this version is dynamic and directional with a flowing base.
